How this calendar works
This calendar gathers concerts, parties, fairs and events from the venues on Gigóia Island. The programme is concentrated at the weekend: Friday and Saturday nights usually bring live music to the bars along the lagoon, and Sunday is a long lunch with samba or MPB in several places. Every event here is confirmed with the venue itself — when nothing is scheduled, the page stays empty rather than repeating an old listing. Running something on the island? While you are on the island: boat tour + lunch for R$ 100
Before or after your meal you can take the Carioca Pantanal boat tour, among caimans, capybaras and mangroves — 35 to 40 minutes, with an executive lunch included. The tour on its own is R$ 50.
