About the Pub

Located in the heart of Gigóia Island, Elson's Bar is one of those pubs that quickly became part of the island's life. Created by owner Elson, the bar quickly won over residents and visitors with its simple, welcoming, and personality-filled atmosphere.

The space has the essence of an authentic pub, where people come to eat well, chat, and enjoy the day by the lagoon. The main highlight of the house is the famous roast chicken, considered by many patrons the best roast chicken on Gigóia Island, juicy and full of flavor.

Besides the food, the bar has also become a meeting point to watch soccer games, gathering residents and visitors who join together to cheer, drink an ice-cold beer, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere typical of the islands.

Another highlight is that the bar participates in the traditional gastronomic contest Comida di Buteco, an event that gathers some of the best pubs in the country and celebrates the culture of Brazilian pub food.
